True Cream Golden Bud Milk Oolong Tea is also known as (Formosa) Jin Xuan Tea. It is an elusive and ethereal tea grown in the Nantou area of Taiwan and is from the winter harvest. The lactones of this tea come forth and yield this unexpectedly milky or creamy flavor, with no essences added. It has a smooth and buttery texture, supple and velvety with no bite.
Contrary to popular belief the creamy flavor of the leaves is not obtained through steeping or steaming them in milk before roasting but is actually a characteristic of the tea.
Use 1 teaspoon per 16 to 24 oz Pot.
Use Hot (170F to 185F) water.
Steep for 4 to 5 minutes.
