Our (Organic) Greenbush Rooibos Tea is harvested from the same South African shrub as the Red Rooibos but is processed differently. Red Rooibos leaves are harvested, bruised and then oxidized. The same leaves are used to make Green Rooibos however they are specially treated to prevent oxidation, so they are closer to their natural state and will not change colors. The result is a lighter bodied tea with a less floral and citrus flavor. This tea has a slightly grassy aroma with natural sweet and fruity notes. The low tannin content and natural sweetness ensure a smoother tea that requires little, if any, sweetener.

Use 1 Tablespoon per 12 to 16 oz pot.
Use Boiling (212ºF.) water.
Steep for 5 to 7 minutes.
